No Unity at the expense of truth.

BETRAYAL IN ST GILES
Scotland's three largest Christian traditions, Presbyterian, Roman Catholic and Episcopalian met to celebrate the 450th anniversary of Scottish Reformation.

The Very Reverend Doctor Sheilagh Kesting, Secretary to the Church of Scotland Ecumenical Relations Committee, said, "This would not have been possible even ten years ago. To be able to focus together on such a sensitive area in our history is part of a desire to heal memories, also not to say one side is right and the other wrong." If this is to be the common denominator between the different traditions,

The real treachery comes from the Church of Scotland and the lack of real principle from the Roman Catholic Church, celebrating both together the very event that established Scotland as a Protestant country and saw the downfall of Rome.

To ecumenists in the National Church who find the Reformation giving them bad memories, let me remind them that the Reformation and its fruits were given to us by the Lord in His great mercy.
To be ashamed of the Reformation is not only to dishonour God but to dishonour the Protestant martyrs who gave their lives for truth and liberty.

Love to our Lord bears many fruits and one of them is to hate sin whether it be in ourselves, or the poison of deceit found in the National Church.
The love of God and the love of sin cannot dwell together, neither can one love God and sin too.
The false religion which will bring some together in St. Giles is hated by God.
Friends of God will be outside the Cathedral celebrating the Reformation.
May Scotland say with Ephraim, 'What have we to do anymore with idols, Hosea 14:8
