I used to have this LP in the seventies. The version I had was a little faster It has been almost thirty years since I heard this song. Thanks for the post - I got to relive some memories!

Hello all. This is not the original version on the Gangbusters Album. Sal Didonato's vocal performance on the Original Version and Joe's arrangement is the one and only that people should listen to. I was only able to listen to the faster version for two days...sadly the account has been closed.A search for the song in its fast version didnt turn up anything but it turn up this version. Does anybody know where to get the fast version on cd? does it exist? a search for the album posted by abysalsoul didnt return anything. Thanks for any reply

The lead singer on this record is one of my good friends. We has an original band together back in 1980/81 called US City. His name was Sal DiDonato. He passed away on December 4th 2010 after a long illness. Sal was a huge talent. He along with Paul Treppedi on drums performed on the LP "Gang Busters" and I along with them after their Gary's Gang days wrote and recorded an albums worth of music in '80 and '81. It was 1980, and I was about 6 years old and had a crush on this little girl. then I heard this song at the party while the adults danced cheek to cheek. I had this crush on this little 6 year old girl. Wow! It sure brings back memories.
