I Agree with you that it is a horrible show, however I don't agree that it is the worst show that they aired. John from Cincinnati Deserves that Position

I thought this show was a huge disappointment. The storylines were all incredibly boring. The only function seemed to be to show more graphic than usual sex scenes, which came off as HBO just pulling a "ooh look what we can do, we're soooo edgy, yeah." There was nothing particularly interesting about any of the characters or plots.
In Treatment, on the other hand, was excellent.
Overall, The Wire, Sopranos, and Six Feet Under remain the best HBO dramas. This show didn't even come close to them

the most real show ever in the history of television. The "boring" story lines were that way because they treated real issues. The show was only about the treatment. HEY! LOOK!... there goes the point... you missed it.

I miss this show! I was all excited for the second season, then found out it wasn't coming back! It was picked up for another season but the writer "couldn't find a direction" for the show.... How upsetting!
