Awesome!
-
Def going to try this thanks whitney..really like watching your tutorials
-
"You will need.. a shiny fabric that burns well..." Not a sentence one hears every day on sewing tutorials. =D Great video though, thank you! I had no idea what lollipop flowers were before this.
-
I have a lot of that type of fabric left, I am totally doing this later today!!

@citypenguin Polyesters or other synthetic materials are best. Silks and natural fibers tend to burn and scorch rather than slightly melt and curl. I've found lining fabrics work well -- and are super cheap! :)

Those are so pretty!

this is a good idea! the burned edges really give it a nice effect

This is really neat. How do you come up with such creative ideas? You are the best.

@peepgal Aww thanks! I get ideas from all over the place...sometimes I'm inspired by something I see in a photo or a store and then I create my own version. Other times I create things out of neccessity :)

@jerichomattt Hehe I love candy! Hadn't thought about how the title might not make sense to people who have never seen this type of flowers.
