You know, whenever I see something like this it makes me think that no one understands the value of real casting. A real casting director (and a good one), picks someone that will be attractive to the audience but also actually acts the plot and character correctly. As an example, Nina Dobrev may not be blonde but I'm sure she'd play the part better than some pretty blonde girl. A casting director does not choose whoever fits the part best physically, but emotionally and the in way they act.

The perfect cast. I was so incredibly disappointed when I read the book and found she's blonde and Stephan has black hair. Where'd the accent go? Perfect cast. Thank you soooooo much for this video.
