voltaire fj40

fj40 landcruiser, voltaires 1974 mud run in edgewater florida, 1.5f motor, 35 BFG KM2s, Beadlock 17s. Run at Mondecks, first test run after the fj40 conversion from stock. Snorkel worked great.

Love my F motor so much i have another one in my garage... thinking of going 3f head with the 2f block. and turbo...

because there is nothing quite like a V8 with headers. I'm running a sbc 350 in my '73 FJ40

@RedHawkRanch Actually my fj40 75 has a bored out 350, headers etc. i eat mustangs for breakfast when the top is off... but after having a BIG block straight six... and seeing how much torque it has for climbing a hill at almost zero rpm... id have to say i love them both... but now im sold on the F engine its a MONSTER and would pull a 350 in half. and still run for 37 years.

@hunna122 I like sb chevy because they have a beter gas mileage than f and 2f engine and variety of parts available for the sb chevy,parts for the f engines are getting rare , i have driven both ,f and sb chevy on fj40 and love them both.

@chevfj40 why would you ruin a fj40 with a chev engine its pointless its a toyota i have an fj40 wih a 4 inch lift stock engine and it will go where ever ur chev goes
