ok just go to system preferences then go to keyboard then press keyboard and text input there u will find the short cuts u want to change and u can see other things too hope that help and thnx for watchin my vid plz sub :D

Thanks for the quick response Salehs. I've tried this and it still doesn't let me scroll between messages using 3 fingers, unless i hold down the 'alt' key. Any other thoughts? I'll try the lion tweaks program as well. Many thanks.

first to go back to the default scrolling .. what you need to do is :

go to the apple sign on the corner then go to system preferences then choose track pad then choose scroll and zoom option after that you will see three things you can check and uncheck go to the first one and uncheck it so that you can scroll as the leopard hope i helped you in that and btw there is a program to disable and enable lion tweak its name is *lion tweaks* hope you can find ur answer and thnx

I have just upgraded my macbook air to Lion (from Leopard). In Mail, one use to be able to scroll between messages using 3 fingers. This is not available in Lion, without holding down the 'alt' key, which defeats the point of only using one hand on the trackpad. Any thoughts on this would be much appreciated.
