The Shrine of the Book, at the Israel Museum, hosts one of the most valued treasures of the Jewish People: the Dead Sea Scrolls.  These texts, the most ancient Hebrew scripts ever found, include books of the Bible and writings that shed light on Jewish life back to the times of the destruction of the Second Temple and the Great Jewish Revolt against the Romans.  Two thousand years after they were written by members of the sect of the Essenes, the Dead Sea Scrolls were found here in Qumran, located in the Judean Desert, north of the Dead Sea.  Infolive.tv visited Qumran and brings you the story.12/16/08

  • @megametal777 Yes! and they were in the cave for 309 years. It's written in Coran.

  • The story of these people is already in Coran. Ahl Kahf (people of the cave). These people has escaped to practice their religion. Islam has answers for you if u have questions

  • @sharnirose

    amen to that!!!

  • aaaaaaaannnd im a mormon

  • less and less corrupt? That is a ridiculous assumption and that's exactly what it is a guess based on nothing... statistically since early 1900's we are climbing drastically look up the crime rate, drug arrest rate, and murder rate... Don't just say your opinions use fact and evidence... These are just based on the past years there is a point where statistics went recorded but the only thing we can ASSUME is that they continue in the same direction

  • @batocccc

If it was true that satan is corrupting us over the years it makes absolutely no sense, people have never been as corrupted sex and murder wise then in jesus times, if anything we are getting less and less corrupt.

not only do you find less murder, massacre, rape, molestation and pillaging in modern times, how often do you hear people being sacraficed for a god or people being killed for being inhabited by the devil today?what have you heard of rape and pillaging of towns today?

  • @batocccc

untrue, although in those times they didnt have video porn, there were lewd drawings, paintings etc at that time being their version of porn, and if that wasnt enough they would just find a prostitute, it was widely accepted for anyone to do that in their time modern times didnt invent porn or prostitutes, fossilised objects of pleasure for women have also been found. Not to mention the fact that they have found this day teen pregnancy is the lowest its been in literally forever

  • @naruto99924 thats because of the society we live in at the moment. You don't understand that life was much different in the past. There was no porn for teenage kids to masturbate to. Women didn't have intercourse until they were married. etc... You need to understand that satan has placed a system on earth to corrupt the people. All religious txts state this as well and have stated this well over thousands of years ago.

  • @healthyone100 the seven deadly sins are a stupid concept, the fact is no one can go through life without going against at the very least one of the rules

but its believed jesus forgave us for those deadly sins
