You're right... the world is small. Obama recognizes that Americans need to be more understanding that they are citizens of the world, not bullies. When you leave US soil, you find that the US is not that popular. The republicans didn't understand this and just made things worse.

Obama is showing sensitivity, manners and respect and will earn a little of that back for the US.
