@XxAimeeBaybiixX well...in the case of pancreatic cancer, if not discovered early enough. steve opted out of surgery to remove his tumour (which, in terms of pancreatic cancer, was a very rare and easily treated form), and instead chose to follow a strict diet. while on the diet, the tumour worsened and got to the point where the damage was irreversible. and that is why he is now gone.
