This video features gameplay from Animal Crossing for GameCube. In this video, I earn 57,000 bells in about 8 minutes. How? In early September, there are no sea bass in the ocean. So if you fish in the ocean, there will only be red snappers (3,000 bells), barred knifejaws (5,000 bells), and if it's raining, coelacanths (15,000 bells). For best results, avoid the acre where the river flows into the ocean, since there will be river fish (which are less valuable) there.

Try it out yourself to earn some serious bells! FYI, the sea bass start to return around September 12, give or take a day. Thanks for watching!

  • oh btw, contrary to the description, i highly recommend fishing AT the estuary, because river fish dont really appear there, and that is where the barred knifejaws all seem to congregate! also large chars seem to LOVE the area under the waterfall so check there.

  • @GDarkGoombaG: I get mostly salmon at the estuary. And they're only worth 650 bells, opposed to the minimum 3,000 bells per fish at the other ocean acres. So if making quick bells is your goal, then it's best to avoid that acre.

  • the absolute best time to fish ever is with a golden rod, in the first half of september, ON RAINY DAYS!!!!! also, out of the five great fish (arapaima, arowana, coelacanth, large char, stringfish), all but the coelacanth can be found in september. i recomment fishing a few days into september to get rid of any potential jellyfish, although if you're looking for large char, they seem to be MUCH more abundant around july. large chars are extremely easy to catch tho; GREAT cash crop!

  • @GDarkGoombaG: The coelacanth can be caught in September as well. I caught many of them last month.

  • Is there any change on the river fish during september?

  • @djd12: If there is a change, it's not dramatic like in the ocean. There are still "cheap" fish in the rivers year-round.

  • @Jeff: Did you notice the water flow in the ocean on Gamecube Animal Crossing is different from the water flow on Wii Animal Crossing?

  • Thunbs up if september fishing is fun!

  • @jvgsjeff i never seem to get salmon there but whatever. its just from my studies, barred knifejaws love the estuary like large chars love the waterfall.
