Maverick Hunter X Rewrite 01: The Awakening Road

This game is an absolute travesty, and its biggest problem is the writing. To that end, I'm going to try and make it reach adequacy through a revision. In our first episode, the nervous and inexperienced X is thrown into Sigma's robotic revolution... and learns the hard way the dangers of giant mechs driven by purple loonies.

Well, X was the first Reploid, which all the others are based on... and the history books will certainly proclaim him the first Hunter since he does so much.

See? This is why Capcom doesn't do anything with Mega Man anymore. Much less anything unique or incredibly well done and in depth remakes such as this. I also see nothing wrong with the writing either. The translation was pretty good if you ask me. The only problem I see with the game is maybe some collision issues with wall jumping and the excessive yelling of the attack names. MHX was a great reimagining and game. I personally hope for MHX2 and MHX3! =P

@ZeroWY: X is the first Robot with human emotions, and other robots, called Reploids were created. Reploids stands for "Replicate Androids." Reploids are based on X.
