my potential Dodge Daytona

this is my 1990 dodge daytona shelby 2.5L its a automatic n the condition u see i bought it pretty much as it is. not too knowledged in car repair n since this one is rare where im from, southern CA plz send responses or advice on how to make this a rubber burnin rarity! my waste gate doesnt blow off as it used to it tops round 5 on the boost n id like to gain more power behind the wheel...i love my cars feel n i know it has potential so any comments or advice would n much helpful thanks.-David F.

you have a really sweet daytona i have one but its a 89 daytona shelby the blue body with gray trim. Do you mind if i ask what u paid for it?

 The same thing happens to (speedomenter) when ever I start it and let it run. It may have something to do with heat.

nice car, i have a 91 daytona ES series, i actually had the same problem with the tach. ended up being a faulty speed sensor $11 fix at my local o'rieley parts store. I also was wondering if this car came out with the factory holley throttle body on it like mine did.
