@GoldeWC I clearly state in the subtitle to the video that this is "the story on how I became the 12th Women's World Chess Champion". By the way, on this same channel, I think you will enjoy seeing my video on how I beat the men's world champion Vishy Anand our recent blitz game.

8bitdame sent me. Thanks!
I love this game. It's a shame not enough women play it. It's a shame not enough people play it.

@SuperTinkerhell 90% of the chess players are men. It would be completely unfair to have only one chess championship as men would always win. By the way, in the men chess championship, women can play.

I don't really see why there has to be a women's world championship event...there should just be the one main event and both sex's compete....should make no difference in chess between genders.

Playing serious chess is a great experience. It's just abundant food for your hungry mind. Much needed workout for your brain. A Chess game is 5 hours of meditation. For the next 4-5 hours Chess board becomes your only reality and Universe. Your existence will be limited to a board. Chess pieces become part of your greater soul. It's just an amazing feeling like an out of body experience. You'd have to experience it to understand how it feels. Every child deserves to be taught this great art.

@ChessQueen What do you guys write on the paper after playing each move??
JawadKarimKhan 6 months ago
@JawadKarimKhan Chess players keep score of the games by writing down the moves, so that later on, they can play back the game and analyze it to see where mistakes were made.

So how does one write down the moves if left-handed?
widebody123 10 months ago
@widebody123 I don't understand your question. If one is left-handed, I suppose one would write the moves with one's left hand. You are free to write the moves with any hand you please.

@ChessQueen Most players move and write with their right hand. Widebody123's question concerns writing for lifted handed players.
SpecialGuy21 6 months ago
@SpecialGuy21 It is allowed to play chess and to write down the moves with any hand you wish.
