@objesguy i agree. We simply just cant keep of who is saying especially when we are looking at the chefs most of the times. one of the best dubs i have ever seen as well

my mama used to feed me with liver. IDA's like me... has to feed a lot of these.

@gloomyoutlook DEfinitely, plus the Chairman's dubber sounds pretty sexeh himself. English or Japanese, the Chairman is awesome. :)

I dunno. Maybe the announcers/guests could stick with dubbing, but it would be better to have the Iron Chefs and the Challengers subbed. The ICs and Challengers don't talk much, compared to the announcers/guests. The Chairman should definitely be subbed, to give it that "Japanese" feel to IC (including those "memory serves" parts).

i think dubbing is necessary because so many people are talking at the same time. Plus, subtitles would impede on the images of the kitchen which would ruin the whole point of the show
