I like Tales because it's basically what G3 could have been if not for the fact that G3 had no entertainment value. But Tales is just fun. It's silly and absurd at times, but it makes a valiant effort to be an actual cartoon. In this sense, I think G1 was fairly perfect. MLPN'F gave adventure stories, and then MLPT gave slice of life. Perfect balance, and both were seriously enjoyable.

(Also, how can you go wrong with anthro ponies? actually, on second thought don't asnwer that)

@TheDavidReinoldBand I agree. I really enjoy My Little Pony Tales a lot. I agree that MLPT is more of a cartoon than an advertising vehicle. MLPFiM I believe goes back to the MLPT style of cartoon. Out of all the current generations I have to say it's MLPFiM and then MLPT after wards. All of them were quite enjoyable though.

Yeah anthro can get pretty "wrong" at times. But MLP anthro is ok.

@kataankoryu No, it's floor. I know it's hard to hear what they are saying.. There are better quality recordings of My Little Pony Tales if you want to see them. MLPT is my favorite gen of MLP! ^^

G1- Hardcore action, but very poorly drawn.

G2- Never seen it.

G3- Most detailed artwork, but not much action.

G4- Most best character personalities, but disturbingly cartoony.
