Saw Elvin last night at Blues Weekend Eureka Springs AR. He's as super as ever. Last saw him in '69 FIllmore West where he was a big favorite and regular act. Saw him there on a two-day blues run with BB and either Albert King or Albert Collins. Great, humble and humorous performer. Thanks for this super post. Not many old performances of Elvin's on YT.

@biglloyddobbs Yea, LMAO...you need to try Primo...old Falstaff in Hawaiian garb...& well it was only a delicacy cuz you couldn't get it in Hawaii, people loved Oly = Olympia too ...me, I like a Bass Ale, if I'm imbibing.

@Okpolosi Everything you said was great EXCEPT the part about Coors being a delicacy!

Paul Butterfield & solo,Elvin always rox.The Let It Flow tour came to Hawaii & they turned a huge venue into a club, drinking & handing out Coors ( a rare delicacy LOL in Hawaii at the time ) opening for the Full House tour of J Geils Band,an incerdible laid back opening to the high energy of Peter Wolf.Elvin is a treasured transplanted son of Oklahoma. And always a leaves ya grinning.

I saw this advertised on some KVIEO program a few months back; I've been looking for it ever since. Instead of 'Elvin,' I thought it was 'Ervin.' Haw.
This is great, music just isn't like this anymore.
