i was born in teochew, as a teochew nam , i love my home town so much, the kind prople, beautiful scenery, delicious food, traditional culture, Teochew Nam is one of the most excellent and successful minority in China ,even in worldwide ,thanks for the spiritual values, i will do what i can to contribute to our hometown.

My mother is a teochew...i used to hear my late grandparents speaking teochew...good memories. I was expecting to see swatow, but seeing my home, singapore is not too bad.

In other songs in the DVD, I was performing. In this song, the woman in black at the back is my mother. Anyway, I will be performing with Thau Yong at our first Teochew music concert on Sept 14-15. If you are free, come and support us at Victoria Theatre la! =)

my grandad used to have shop selling these instruments and teochew opera costume at Merchant Street, known in teochew "tong chi zua" my grandpa shop is Teck Heng... very memorable childhood i spent there.
