This film of life with 'Charlie Company', an American combat unit of the 4th Infantry policing a civilian town is dynamite. It is a shattering insight into how America is aggressively setting about LOSING the battle for hearts and minds....officers and men hyped up, jittery and fuelled by fear, battering their way into civilian homes roughing up the civilians within..bagging their heads and parading them in the street and then posing in front of the prisoners for family album photos. It is a stunning and instructive watch.

@odatchat are you kidding me?? in the battle of somme in ww1 the british lost 60,000 men on the first day alone.... and they still won. yeah we have lost 10,000 but that is actually nothing compared to every other war. And no matter what war your in people come out mentally and seriously injured, so that was a stupid point to make. The thing is there is way more deaths on their side then are side. trust me we are giving them a lot more heat then they are giving us.

@djphilmore No you didn't explain it. Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11, absolutely nothing to do with it. Saddam hated the Al Qaeda. They represent a completely different ideaology from his Ba'ath Party. He hated Osama Bin Laden. So again, what has 9/11 got to do with the war in Iraq? 9/11 was carried out by Suadi Arabians, lead by Osama, another Suadi Arabian.

I can only assume you get your info from FOX News. I've never spoke to someone so ignorant to the facts in all my life.

@djphilmore The Taliban and Al Qaeda aren't connected you fool. The USA have been fighting against Al Qaeda for decades. Up until 1999 the US were allies of the Taliban, they were even in negotiations with them for oil and gas contracts with Robert Oakley, Unocal and Centgas. In 2000 the Taliban withdrew the contract and sold it to an Argentinain company. 2 years later the US invade Afghanistan and win back the contract. Coincidence?

But still, none of this exlains why they are in Iraq.
