  • Ave Maria Guarani- Ennio Moriicone

    Soundtrack movie- "The Mission"

Ave Maria quae nos deo coniungis

    Inter hominum electa universi multitudinem

    Memorares ne obliviscaris

Naturam tuam at Deo restituax nos dilectos

    Cum nobis panem fregit

    Sancta Maria nobis doceas

    Ut omnibus assentiamus cum humilitate

Thats the lyrics, and I think it is acurated, but not completely shure.

  • Beautifully performed!

  • Beautiful. And thanks for the lyrics.

  • Impresionante Canción...!!!

  • Jesuits was all Saints. This is the Truth. Catholicism transformed slaves to human beings.

  • @clusterguard not necesarilly, jesuits were also colonizers. In the particular case of the guaranis, the jesuits "took them" among other things to exploit their tribal ancient conflicts with the tupis, who were mainly with spanish colonizers. On the other hand, jesuits hold monopolies over several products by the moment. History is not that easy dude.

  • @VITOLLFOTOGRAFIA is not adapt or die. Paradoxically, choosing life, freedom. Unfortunately relativistic thinking now, do not let him.

  • Sublime..!

  • @titiwbrol very good said!

  • 400 years after, several of the missions (in Uruguay, Argentina, Paraguay and the United States) are still operating. The indians seeked refuge from the killings perpetrated by the "conquistadores" . The orders of the "jesuítas" were those who gave protection even against the will of the Vatican and the aristocracy. The Mission was a good film, made by good people to show a few just men struggling for a better world.

  • @titiwbrol baheya parecó, my friend!
