@Cherrywoo77 - Hate that people are coming at you for this. I didn't think it seemed emotional either. Especially since the girl next to the mom, I'm assuming is the daughter, isn't crying or showing emotion and even pulls out her phone to text. The mother doesn't open her eyes and there are no visible tears. Not that I don't find the story sad and I'm sorry for the loss, it just seemed odd to me, as well.
