For those who are interested, this skit came from the Goon Show Episode, The Mysterious Punch-Up-the-Conker. It's also a perfect example of the tactics that the Goons used to fill a little time every now and then on their program.

I think that Mike Smith may have taken inspiration from Eccles's voice and manner of speaking when he created Bubbles. They're a bit similar in my opinion.
