@trentsmith14738 i question that!!!! wouldn't make more since to be clean regardless if its DCI, PWC's, or HBCU's alike were all musicians here right? if its all about power, then you just throw musicianship out the window and what good would it be to hear? its just loud noise, all power with no since of balance or control.

I don't get why people hate on tuba sections based on what horns they play. It's not the tubist's fault, it depends on what school they're at. Not everyone can afford a silver 20K, let alone a brass sousaphone.
My school has 4 fiberglass and one brass, I'd love all our tubas to play brass, but we can't afford it. I respect these guys for putting that kind of sound out with fiberglasses, but don't act superior because you have Conns.
