Here is my newly completed Sig 1/5 cub kit built plane. I converted mine into a super cub and modeled it after the Cub crafters C11-100 sport cub. I made my own cowl from built up foam blocks that were shaped down and then fiber glassed. I am running one of the last OS 70 II surpass four stroke engines with a 14x6 prop. I also have a custom made lighting system that is scale with strobes and landing lights installed in the wings of my plane. I love the way this plane flies it is very scale and realistic. An excellent kit if you want to build a cub.
What engine has this got in it? It sounds real throaty.

This was actually the sig 1/5 scale kit that I bought from Tower Hobbies. It is sold as the Piper J3 kit or you can make it the hazel sig clipped wing version if you like. I built it up my self and taped off the lines. I airbrushed the blue and the gold and silver stripes myself. I got the color scheme from the "Cub Crafters" Sport Cub, you can look them up if you like.
Thanks for the complements!

I need to reload this video because the quality is so bad, I dont know why. But I forgot to mention that I also made a homemade cowling for this cub by shapping it out of foam and fiberglassing over it. It is more of a Super Cub cowling than a j3 cowl.
