Only $20.000 is amazing for something like this, considering the price will probably drop further if it is manufactured in some quantity. For lifting heavy goods we probably have more convenient solutions, but how many paralyzed or otherwise (near) disabled people could benefit from this, as well as the economic advantage of businesses not having to worry about accessibility as much.

I'm also thinking integration in space suits that are heavy and cumbersome to move in right now.
