  • but once again thank you, helped a lot, but I'm wondering over the a add9 like maybe its a chord with a very similar sound to it but I don't know. Thanks again mate.

  • thanks homie, this is really good, I'm gonna roll with the second anthology-ish way

  • @taxisteve929 Yeah it would be nice if we ever got those individual tracks. I agree that what we hear on early tracks is often changed, buried or whatever, but we try our best to come as close as possible. The spirit is most important but sometimes just sometimes you want to sound exactly like they did. Thanks for the message, cheers

  • Sorry about this, but a last question to anyone here....anyone have a multi-track recorder?? Use polychords on this with your chord and maybe the book chords, or maybe some others to see if you can get the right end sound. Tough group for live bands to cover....they did so many cool things not to mention the vocal harmonies aren't the easiest. I think thats why most bands that do Beatles will do something simple or just do their own version without even attempting to duplicate.

  • @taxisteve929 and another thing with final versions is that singing and bass lines can change what we're hearing....any addition. Just want to say thanks for those of us lazy guys who live for the Beatles, but have neither the talent nor tools to disect all of this great information. Anyone who has ever written a song knows that one of the things you do is play with different voicings so I think you're on the money here....but the final I think buried or eliminated most of it. Thanks again!!!

  • Wouldn't it be nice if George Martin's son put a package out of all of the songs individual tracks....he has them....would clear up a lot of things. I love your study on this, but then with the Anthology, as someone else said, it seemed a bit different than the final version they went with, so a lot of the early takes could have been buried, or polychords used, as they did on the first chord of A Hard Days Night, so us guys with a single acoustic just try to get close as we can with what we have

  • @Leeallicat

Thanks for the support. Glad you like the tutorials. I'll have more vids. I was just taking a bit of a summer break.

    Cheers.

  • @jpm2u i think you under estimate yourself and you are much better than other tutorials as you go into greater detail. Looking forward to your next video!
