Since 1990, Wings have 4 Cups, Pens have 3. They're pretty close to even dude.

Man haven't I had to heckle your comments enough already? Yeah I guess you're right, so a team has to win a championship every year or they're no good, gotchya.

It wasn't that big of an upset though. Pens were the defending conference champs from the season before and this was actually a Stanley Cup rematch. Pens were still "underdogs" but this is a relatively small upset, not a big one.

How many of them were from the original 6 era when it was easier to win it though? You can't compare all-time stats when the Wings were around twice as long as the Pens were. Since 1967, the arrival of the Pens' existence, the Wings have 4, the Pens have 3. They're about even.

But the Pens can claim 2 from the early 90s, making the totals 4 and 3 in the last 22 years. While the Wings have more overall, both teams have managed their franchises relatively well, and I'm not so sure you can really say one is that much better than the other.
