It is the throttle trim. put the car upside down and test with turning the throttle trim wheel. The wheels should not turn until you pull the trigger.
I have the e-savage too, and sometimes it happens. It isn't broken don't worry. :)

My Team Losi Desert truck dose that from time to time when i accidentally touch the throttle trim but its good that the problem is fixed if it Happens again disconnected all the wires from the motors and receiver and just re program your ESC and it will most likely fix it i had a problem with my buggy and that seemed to do the trick.

2 words: throttle trim
wow didn't know that a video of my problematic truck can create a dispute between hpi and other r/c companies here. Well the problem was fixed by hpi for free (had to send it in on my own expense though). Turned out to be the twin motors. They swapped me a new pair and now it's running perfectly, except that i just burnt my batteries lol. Thanks for the advices though guys, appreciate it!

your problem is... your trucks upside down...
lol only joking
err have you checked inside the receiver where the antenna wire goes, like inside the small black box on the circuit board, make sure that is not loose

maybe ure esc or reciever is f'ed. have you driven it in water lately? check the wires that go from esc to reciever and pull them in and out a few times. is your tx antenna screwed in well. its your reciever antenna wire broken, exposed, shortened

no, i've never had it to go over water. I called hpi they told me to check the crystal so unplug it and plug it back in, that didn't solve the issue. Antenna fits in correctly, the truck itself seems perfectly normal, sc is a little weird but i think it's either the crystal or the radio that is defected, I never shortened mt antenna either so... called hpi again they told me to send it in. So i guess thats the only thing i can do for now.
