i ve been watching this iconic show since i was in elementary school, know the episodes by heart & still laugh at it, Jackie was a true genius

Back in the 1950's, perhaps early 1960's, Jackie Gleason produced and directed quite a few LP recordings of some of the most beautful music ever put on vinyl. Mostly great standards from the best composers. At one time they were available on CD but I am not sure about today.

One of my all-time favorite sitcoms. Much better than the crap currently on today's TV.

@elperromagico - Agreed. But as I got older I was struck by the fact that this gorgeous theme introduced some of the greatest slapstick, pants-falling-down humor we've had the privilege of seeing. How ironic - and beautiful!

just a relaxing nostalgic tune to one of the funniest shows ever. funny, they did'nt need cussing or sexual inuendo to be funny.
