@LoneWolf228 Costa? lol, dellusions of gra....eh nvm. Anyway, I doubt he'd be "talking" you through it at all during a drill. He may stand right beside you quickly and repeatedly yelling in the your ear "FIX IT! FIX IT! FIX IT!" lol...
@SERVIAM2008 Also with the jam on my usp. It started off with a FTF. I started by bumping the back of the slide. I got nothing, then I tapped and racked, that led to a double feed, then I locked the slide back, ripped out the mag, saw the bullets fall out, reinserted the mag and closed the slide home. funny thing about that. during that time, it felt like Christ Costa was standing there and talking me through the jam. Creepy...
@SERVIAM2008 thanks, I think my problem was mostly sight picture and distance and a lil trigger control. It was something to learn from. I did however had my second match this past sunday. I'm posting the video here right now so it should be up in a bit. I'll send it to you. But yea, the malfunctions were real. the first one came from a "stage" gun a DB-9 and the 2nd one was my USP compact. I concluded it was ammo if you look how the case flopped out. it was its first malfunction EVER.
@spartakis2552 the first gun that jammed wasn't a BUG, it was a "stage" gun for everyone to use. originally we were to start with that gun, shoot the first 3 targets, 2 shots each, then draw our pistol and go to the next target. that pistol was a DB-9 and it sucked. so they had us just draw our pistol if it jammed as it did. the second jam was my pistol which i cleared.
dont knock yourself too badly,. if this was your first ever competition you can usually bet that performance anxiety alone will screw with your coordination and ability to focus and be calm. The malfunctions you experienced, were they all intentionally manufactured or were you really having problems with your weapon?
@SERVIAM2008 HAHAHAHAHAH! Yeah that's so true, He would be screaming that in my ear!

Since when can you transition to a BUG in IDPA? (I'm new to the sport but I thought the rules state only one gun is to be used?)
