In the 80's I was a jazz dj in Connecticut. Flew to Fla to see my mom. Dizzy was on the flight. He came back after dinner and we talked music. I walked off with him, carrying one of his trumpets. He arranged for tickets for that night's concert. He also noticed a particular ring I was wearing. About a year later, I mc'd a concert with him. I said you might not remember me, but you might remember the ring. He said " On the plane to West Palm Beach!
