  • @yayaenfinda85 lmao... u have any idea how expensive shrink tubing is? plus i havent the slightest idea where to get really huge pieces

  • Another option to power an car audio amp in your house is to find some old cheap PC powesupply's. With some modification internally you can basically run 3 of them wired together in series using the 5V output and get a 25-50amp 15v power supply. Most people wont want to do this but if you like to tinker with stuff it's a fun project.

  • @ecoots normally i dont reccomend that method, but with three psu's itd be more then sufficent for a car amp. one alone will be strained greatly. ^^ u forgot to mention that its also dangerous for people to even open a psu to modify, since noobs dont know about the large capacitors that stay charged inside ;)

  • @demonsparkx Good point, also i agree with you about battery chargers, Unregulated dirty source of power, most of them that are good enough will introduce noise in your system and even if you just use a battery and charge it when not in use you still risk running low voltage to your equipment and cooking it. BTW nice channel.

  • @ecoots yes, couldnt agree more. and thanks!

  • @demonsparkx I was think about a pc surge or something like a 12 volt battery charger from wal mart

  • @ssdukeinterprize well if its an actuall battery charger, you WILL have some problems... ive tryed a 300Amp 75Lb car battery charger/ jumpstarter. and since it trickle charges it wouldnt even turn on the amp. some MAY work but i personally do not reccomend using chargers.
