  • Nice video. Our bird book says that it is the rarest of all woodpeckers. We live in Northern Ontario and the bird book says that the bird is WAY out of its range where we are. It says that its range is in the Carolinian Forests of Southern Ontario. We are a good 400 miles from the nearest Carolinian Forest, so we just enjoy him. He NEVER comes to the home made suet my wife makes - always feeds on Black Oil seeds.

  • Great angle. I really enjoyed seeing her in her natural habitat instead of my suet bird feeder.
