This is the first installment in my double staff blog. There are a lot of poi tutorials out there, but I haven't seen many for double staff, MCP's series being the obvious exception. So I decided to follow Drex's lead and start sharing some things that people have asked me to show them and some things that I'm exploring in general. I hope it doesn't suck.

  • What lengths are you using?

    Generic question. I know.

I'm a poi spinner and am just about to start doubles and hope you bring out more of these videos.

    Kudos.

  • @thebrillopad The staves I'm using in this video and my fire doubles are both 3' even. I have a couple friends that use staves a couple inches shorter, but they're both shorter than I am (I'm 6'4"). I wouldn't start with anything longer though. Thanks for posting and welcome to the crazy world of double staff!
