Our Search For Frostie Root Beer

We drive for close to 100 miles to find Frostie Root Beer. We don't answer any of these questions: Who am I? Why was I born? What does it all mean? We do answer an even more important question Where can we find Frostie Root Beer?
Our wanderings through Illinois brought us to an abandoned building and a country cemetery (the compelling and brilliantly filmed scene in the cemetery was edited out).
The whole expedition was undertaken not so much for Frostie Root Beer, but to relive old memories of young days sipping the stuff.

I have been looking for the commercial. Do you remember, "Frostie Root Beer is the duckbill platypus of the cool refreshing world?"

It's root beer, for sure, but folks it's something more, it's something else.

There was a store in Crestwood,Mo. off Lindbergh Blvd.,called World markets,that carried it in 2003.
