@overfiendav iHave you been to moscow?
I've been there and it looks exactly like that and we were close to the center. If you ignore all the facts and look at it as a stereotype then yes, russia isn't like that. But if you travel around more, sure as hell you will be amazed how many weird shit you see.

phil was not relateably, not because of the Russians..he is unrelateable as a person generally...." here the cancer" the cancer is himself..I think "Everybody loves Raymond" was a success not because of him but despite of him....This could be labeled as a microcrososm"WHY EVERYONE HATES A JEW"...His thoughtless antics and judgement on cultural habits lead the Russians to see he was cancerous and left the project...As the drivers, directors, and actors...WHO WOULD WANT TO WORK WITH THIS GUY

This is really a stupid movie that has nothing to do with the actual russia. Sad to say a stereotypical movie made for comedy sake like borat just to make people laugh. What year did he go to russia? there are no rundown places like this in moscow, especially studios for sure. Studios make a lot of money there as everywhere. About Raymond in russian, Russian comedy is different. He should start by understanding KVN then he might get a perspective about russian comedy.

Is this really true? LOL:)
Russia is one of the most disgusting countries in the world. Vodka is national drink of Russia, Russians are often drunk and that's why traffic is so terrible.

@lollalot And about hospitals and etc, well i'll give you an real live example, in my district of the city (i live in pretty big city, not Moscow) there were some really unfinished buildings, they were started to building them in 90's, but then economic crisis happened in 98, and building is stopped. It's a big child policlinic and really big swimming pool building (with large and small pools). They were abounded for 12 years till August 2012 and now they almost finished ready to open.

@lollalot Well i know about this things that Putin is getting rich and etc, many people (especcially in the internet) believe them, but no one is thougth that maybe it's just a rumors? There is no proof. I dont really like Putin too, especcially because he's running for president for the third time, but i have to admit, that the last 8 years with him was very good for economy.

@RealNarod28 Thank you for taking the time to look back, appreciate it. You're probably more qualified to comment on whether things are improving or not if you live there; I don't live there but I try to visit regularly. I hear from friends and family members living there about how bad certain things are, for example putin is getting rich but public buildings (hospitals, flats, museums, roads, etc) are falling into decay. I sincerely hope you're right and I meant the best, honestly.
Russian adaptations are shit. That's because guys on our "comedy channels" have no respect for audience. We're not that stupid as they see.
