1998: The Klubhouse Killas (DJ Dilznit aka The Schoolyard Killa and DJ BloodFreak) arise from the ashes of the industrial ruins of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania (hereby referred to as "C-Burg"). Why they formed this alliance, we will never really know. But in the precious time that was spent creating and fusing together the elements that would become the "Klubhouze Sound", the musical landscape would never be the same.

Dilznit and BloodFreak began releasing a series of singles that would blow anyone who heard them away. "My Heart Will Go On" was the first - the textured beats and keyboard solo (by Dilznit himself) washed the listener into an awesome wave of euphoria and pleasure. The song immediately charted on WYSC 88.7's playlist within days of its inception and the boys never looked back. Songs like "Hit me Baby, One More Time" and "Pretty Fly for a White Guy" followed, culminating with the KHK's watermark - "The Backstreet Medley". Buzz formed around the band like a rapidly spreading brain cancer and Corporate America came knocking on the Klubhouze door in the winter of '99.

After a fierce bidding war that ended with the KHK signing to 'Dreamworks Records' in March of 1999, the band set out to issue its first proper release, "EfuckinP" a few months later. A multi-million dollar advertising campaign began. Dilznit and BloodFreak began the press tour in earnest. The buzz was almost deafening - 'Spin Magazine' called the band "..The most important musical force that will ever exist". Critics, journalists, and admirers begun to form a cult-like force over the band, forming the "Sect of the KHK".

Then, in May of 1999.. everything changed...

Following the cries of many religious and female advocacy groups, the Klubhouze Killas were unceremoniously dropped from the 'Dreamworks' roster. The label cited that the KHK were "a liability" and would "damage possible Dreamworks sales of our other artists such as the Propellerheads and Elliott Smith, as well as every other artist currently making music today." Corporate America now wanted to shut the KHK out upon hearing the advance copies of "EfuckinP". The master tapes were stolen and later destroyed on the presumption of "national security".

Dilznit and BloodFreak went underground, out of sight. There would be rumors of sightings or appearances. Reports of DJ Bloodfreak becoming a born-again Christian and Dilznit running a used-car business were found to be untrue. In fact, the KHK were never dead.. they were waiting and plotting each and every move. The "man" would not keep them down, the music would never stop.

After many years of bruised egos and hurt feelings, the KHK reconvened in July of 2005. Discussions were held.. the lawyers were contacted. At a lone eatery in Shippensburg, PA on 7/24/05, the first burst of the KHK well was opened. The world turned a little bit faster.. the air a little bit denser. The words flowed upon the parchment.. beauty reached the eyes of all present. Dilznit and BloodFreak called upon Cmaul (formerly of now-classic 'Fort Chambers') to join KHK. He agreed and the duo became a power trio. A new dawn has set, a new day has come. The Klubhouze Killas rize again.

Nothing will ever be the same again. Will you be saved when the Klubhouze comes calling for you?
