  • The bigger they are the more distance they need! Has to be a hell of a rush for the pilots.

  • @amac320974 That's interesting. I can't stand pussies and dummies who are allowed free reign to access the internet without supervision or restriction.

  • @Neno8403 I cant stand people who think they know everything about everything!

  • He just saw the camera at the end of the runway and decided to give ya a show. ;)

  • @verydange hahahahhahaha ..now thats damnn funny

  • @K0nst4nt1n96 You're about as big of an idiot as 'sdlcman1'. How old are you... 12? There is no aircraft on Earth which uses full-flaps during takeoff. This aircraft was using standard 'Flaps 20' which is normal takeoff flaps for a 747. Full flaps would be 'Flaps 30'. 747s typically land using 'Flaps 25'. Go read a book instead of being a faux airline pilot.

  • @sdlcman1 Sigh. What "Fake Aviation Facts for Dummies" book did you read?? You're statement is about as true as someone proclaiming the Earth is flat! Education 101 lesson for you: Flaps are used to generate LIFT during takeoff and DRAG during landings. Engine thrust has absolutely NOTHING to do with the purpose of flaps. In fact, there are aircraft which can perform no-flaps takeoffs, such as the A300, 757, and DC-9/MD-80. Ignorance is so 1990s.

  • "The flaps are down on takeoff to direct the thrust of the engines downward." !!! Bwahahahahah. Good one. Very funny. (For those of you who are complete novices, sdlcman's statement is so untrue it's quite humorous.)

  • I play Flight Simulator, therefore I know all... bow before my magnificence...

  • @PacificTowing this is true... on top of that, he leaped off the runway... usually if you're very heavy, the mains will roll a lot longer before you get airborne.
