http://www.adventureswithjim.com A hot and rainless day, just metal detecting in the sandy parts of the parts of the old city park for iffy tones gives up a SHOCKER flying eagle cent! The stuff is STILL hiding out there, keep metal detecting people, more treasures lay in hiding!

  • Outstanding find. May I ask what metal detector you're using in this video, Jim? I like the layout.

  • @Ardenwolfe older model White's IDX. Very simple layout, easy to operate, comparable depth to new machines.

  • what a pretty bird..... What happened to the happy dance???

  • @adcarteriv Maybe next time...my mind pretty much went BLANK when I saw the bird...

  • Great Find Jim..You've got a great old area there to work..Congratulations Brother

  • Hey man, you were one of the first to jump on this "iffy signal" band wagon in video. I've hit it off and on over the years, but since your videos I've been working it a little harder. I mean DUDE when the wreath ain't got a shield you KNOW it's gonna be a good day when you flip that puppy over! Too many other signals around it to get clear ID in the ground, found copper memorial 3 inches left, bottle cap 4 inches up...just that I kept hitting a solid tone in the middle...IFFY at best...

  • the round thing with a hole in it is a native american bead you can even see the ancient string marks on the side of it... its not a musket ball its to brown. if its hard its because it was hardened over a fire
