@shrtcrt nothing wrong w/ wiping down the inside of your humidor w/ a damp cloth. if the wood does get damaged or warped, then that's a sign that you bought a really cheap humidor.

@shrtcrt I would also never directly apply water to the humidor. As another tip though I would put some water in a sponge and then put it on a plate and it will act just like the shot glass only it works much faster.

Why do people keeping telling others to wipe the humidor down with water. STOP! It can damage the wood. Put distilled water in a shot glass and let it sit for 3 days or more depending on the size of the humidor.
