I know what you say, and i have respect with you. I buy compact camera (Sony DSC-W80) and i have receive a 2GB Memory Stick for promotion. When you have buy another memory, that's right - you have a reason :) Sony is not a bad company, you know. But really related with other products (memory stick, adapters etc.)

No thats not logical. Because if for any reason it is that you need another card, like, buying a bigger card, You're paying twice the price for it.
Look, be stupid if you want. Go buy a fisherPrice camera. The people here tried to save you from buying something thats going to not be as good, and is going to cost you more.
Thats it. Sony make everything. Canon makes Camera's. Here, go buy a panasonic camera. We don't care, really.

Canon owns the sony, plus you don't have to pay twice as much for a picture card. If you bought a sony, you would have to buy sony's proprietary card. Twice the price, same size card. :)~, And a better camera to boot!

I know this camera is old, but I got it about two weeks ago at the cheapest price you could imagine: us$100 including a 2gb microsd card, absolutely new, just that it was the last item, and it is such an great camera, the zoom is awesome, it takes great quality images. the display is small yeah, but I use the viewfinder.
