  • I couldn't quite make it through the video. The guy's voice had my head on the keyboard 20 secs in. Are they serious with this narration? Motorcycle reviews should be fun, guys. This sounded like a NASA space toilet instruction video. Actually that would be cool, I wonder if there are any of those on youtube...

  • Listen to it. The Yamaha beat the Harley. More power (beat it on the dyno), better handling, better saddlebags, removable windscreen and back rest (without having to pay extra as you do with Harley). Face it, Harley had it's day. It's time for them to wake up and start pricing there bikes and parts in the realistic range. You can wave the American flag all day, (I am a veteran of the US Army) but Harley is no more American made anymore than the Yamaha or any other brand. Look at the packaging!!!

  • @hamsel2oloob Do you have one? Mine is a 1999, the version with four exhaust pipes.

  • @ebsell This is really not true at all. The EVO was good, with some problems such as the inner am bearing and of course the first fuel injection design which people like to stay clear of. The twin cam unfortunately has many issues. For example cam tensioners prior to 2007 have to be replaced before 20,000 miles, and other issues to watch out for. Hope this helps.

  • @dyamarick Dont know much about bikes or you would know that ever since the Evo came out they are as reliable as any Jap bike.

  • yamaha royal star is the king of roads

  • Harley's old reliable twin? When has a Harley had a reliable twin?

  • yamaha stands for

    You...Almost...Made...A...Harley...Asshole :)

  • i prefer the harley is a better brand and is the original all the brands copy fromthe harley because they dont have imagination you need to have LOS HUEVOS BIEN PUESTOS for driving a harley

  • I don't really care what anyone drives. But my money is on the Yamaha. When I am passing 150,000 miles on my Royal Star Tour Classic before worrying about the engine, and the Harley engine has been rebuilt at least 3 times by then, I think we ALL know which one is better. I realize the HD has better resale, because people are buying the hype. But the reality is, if you factor in all of the repairs on the HD vs. the Royal Star over time, the Royal Star ends up the winner.

  • roadkinhg wins hands down, end of story

  • @RFR192 Right on man!

Most people are not aware that this video is from 06? The 2012 Harley's are now sporting a 103ci engine and not to mention the 110 on the CVO's. As far as reliable, search around YT and look at all the Harley's from the 20's 30's 40's 50's 60's 70's 80's 90's and 2000's. These bikes are still running and running pristine. I have buddy's that drive around the country, also have buddy's that drive them everyday. Ride what you want, but there is no ride like a Harley!
