The 6th Annual Danny "G" Golf Classic celebrated the life of Daniel Galorenzo, a Seton Hall Prep varsity wrestler, soccer player, and music lover with an amazingly infectious smile, dynamic sense of humor and quick wit, who died in 2002 at age 16 of an aortic aneurysm.
The Daniel Galorenzo Foundation was formed in his memory to assist children with severely debilitating illnessnes. The Foundation has provided special needs items, and has donated to various charities which provide medical, financial and emotional support.
The annual golf outing, which includes a day of golf followed by an evening dinner program, has become a major part of the Foundation's fundraising efforts.
