  • It wasn't that simple, lamkl123. There was a lot of tension between Brett and the others, mainly Greg and Jay. We don't know the specifics, but Brett does regret it now (and admits that he was under a lot of business pressure and went back to drugs for a while). The three of them were, for the most part, very close friends since high school.

This song, specifically, was apparently because Jay accused Brett of caring more about money than the band.

  • thank you for making this exist! i love this album

  • Is Gore Verbinski playig guitar (also) on this track? I guess the video has had too big budget for the point at his career as a filmmaker, since he started it at this same year (1996, The Ritual, short movie).

  • @tabiecat69 me too! :)

  • i still own the bored generation compilation

    fuckin awesome!

  • Thank you for posting this song. I first heard it off of The Bored Generation compilation and didn't know exactly what I was getting into (I think I was 13). It changed my life.

  • Man, i wish Brett did more solo punk. His voice is pretty damn cool.

  • @daved4 lol wtf, there is NO ALBUM dude. They only released this and another song.

  • @ash0ppingcart It had a lot more to do with Brett's heroin addiction, really...

  • Jay now understands that Brett left to take care of Epitaph. Jay also said that that Brett made the right choice because Bad Religion could still continue, but Epitaph needed him to put out records for all the bands on the label. This was stated on BR's Live at the Palladium DVD.

  • I hate jay too

  • good song
