Young voices filled the streets of Media. Children singers, so happy to spread their voices and share their joy, are the same children who lost one or both parents to AIDS. These happy children, who are part of the Africans Childrens Choir, not only changed the way I see things, but also makes me want to spread the word of Fair Trade.
Hal Taussig, the father of Fair Trade in Media, mentioned that he has dedicated his life to letting people get paid fairly for their work. Dolores White of 10,000 Villages said, "See what happens when you have dreams and make them real?
The town of Media provides a community that is willing and working to help others. They work together as a team to make Fair Trade well known.
