1959 Cushman Eagle w/ Vanguard Conversion

This is a super cool scooter. It actually has the conversion to the 18hp Briggs and Stratton (Vanguard) motor. This thing sounds so tough! And, it is fast! Riding along at 50 mph, you can twist that throttle and it still pulls hard. It will top out at around 75mph! It will be up for sale soon on Craigslist. Look for it there.

I have a 53 Eagle with a Vanguard conversion, it's a great running machine and a blat to ride. can't beat the electric start too!

I've been a member of the Cushman club for 13 years now (I'm 17 years old) and it absolutley bugs me to no end to see cushmans with vangaurd engines on them. Don't get me wrong I love how they sound, they will get up and go, they look cool. But these are vintage bikes and to see them ruined like this just aggrivates me. We have 6 cushmans, and I would never ruin one with a vanguard just for more power. It's ridiculous. Nice bike though. Not putting you or the bike down. Just my opinion.
