The defense rested its case this morning in the trial of torture-slaying alleged ringleader Lemaricus Davidson, after summoning to the witness stand a toxicology expert and DNA analyst. The prosecution then called a few additional witnesses to counter some claims made by the defense. In the afternoon, the jury then heard the prosecution's closing arguments before retiring for the day. The defense will present its closing remarks Tuesday morning and the jury is expected to begin deliberations after that.
