@cadillacjim75 when going off jumps drivers will either rev the engine to speed up the wheels or slow them down to help adjust the angle of the car in mid air. in this case applying the brakes mid-air would have made the rear end tilt down as we see it do. idk if he wanted it to tilt down like that though. maybe so it would land flat and hurt his back?
