Took some video footing of the recent K20A2 swap I did into my 1992 Honda Civic CX Hatchback, in the video the catalytic converter and exhaust system are not attached, just the header - which is why it's very loud

  • ive been thinking about doing the exact same swap, so i was just wondering. 1. how long does it take? 2. how much was the build not including the car. 3. was it worth the effort? thanks!

  • @ghostrider10j - Took about 40 hours of labor by myself, about $6000 for everything and I was able to sell my old B-Series complete swap for $3000. I ended up getting a K24A2 TSX engine shortly after this video was filmed, I definitely would recommend going for a K24 rather than a K20 for the extra torque and similar price.

  • Just using the k20a2 base map for this video until it was later tuned

  • nicely done for the price, for me the price tag would have been $10,000 for what I like but k24 is too big, everyone dreams of 2.0's, I cant decide k20a or build and boost my d16

  • with a little bit of fine tuning that will come out nicely

  • im glad your project came out str8 im on the same quest

  • how much did it cost to do the swap

  • is your car tune?
