Halt in Fellbach Dampflokomotive 64 419

Der Bubikopf, die Crailsheimer Personenzugtenderlokomotive der Baureihe BR 64, machte einen planmäßigen Halt in Fellbach. Man beachte den Heizer, der herunter springt um irgend etwas auf der Lok nachzuregulieren.

I agree, Germany has a lot of beautiful steam engines. From what I've seen so far, they all have red wheels (except for one repainted BR 80, which is all white now)

Hi SodorPruductions. Thanks for commeting here. It's true, red painted wheels and mechanic steerings to power the wheels is what we know from German steam engines. It is the traditional "camouflage" since Prussian times of Reichsbahn in the twenties of the last century. Only for photo shootings, some Loks (engines) were painted in light grey and black wheels, if I remember it correctly.

Danke, Thomas, der Bahnhof Fellbach ist sehr praktisch. Es halten aber nur 2 S-Bahnlinien, die S2 und die S3. Dampfhalte sind die Attraktion bei uns, 2 Sonntage im Jahr. Dir noch ein gutes Neues Jahr.
